Precision Parts manufacturing takes place at Tecnoserie’s plant in Pontedera (Pisa – Italy), that covers 6,000 m2, of which 2,500 indoors that houses a fleet of 30 fully CNC (computer numerical control) machines, including full-CNC multi-spindle lathes, twin-spindle twin-turret lathes, and sliding headstock lathes.
All machines are equipped with driven tools to perform milling operations even on the most complex components, with diameters ranging from 2 mm to 70 mm, directly from round, hexagonal, square, and special-profile bars.
Tecnoserie produces series components using a wide range of different materials, including special steels, stainless steels, free cutting steels, brass, copper alloys, and even plastics, processing around 70 tons of RM every month.
On request, Tecnoserie can also provide surface finishes, heat treatments, passivation, anodizing, zinc plating, and nickel plating, thanks to its proven network of top-tier subcontractors.
Tecnoserie’s production capacity is as high that it can manufacture more than 900 different customer-specified parts every year, for a total of 8 million pieces per year.
Dimensional accuracy is ensured by an in-house metrology lab where instruments are constantly calibrated by Tecnoserie’s specialized technicians.
The lab is equipped with two sets of measuring instruments: one dedicated to production control and one dedicated to checking calibrations.
Tecnoserie has a 500-square-meter warehouse for storing finished components, along with integrated logistics that can be tailored to customer needs to guarantee fast, reliable, made-to-measure service; more than 85% of each customer’s finished components are kept in stock.
In addition, Tecnoserie has a distribution center in Ohio serving the United States and Mexico market, ensuring shorter delivery times for overseas customers.
